THREE INGREDIENT OREO TRUFFLES

Updated: Feb 22, 2019

These truffles are the easiest dessert to make ever. There is no baking involved, no long shopping list, and in total takes about thirty minutes! AMAZING! I recently made these for a friend's birthday and they were a hit!

Ingredients needed..

1. Oreos 25

2. Cream cheese 4 oz

3. Chocolate for dipping

4. Sprinkles (optional)

Let's get started..

1. Crush the Oreos into a food processor and mix well

2. Add 4 oz of cream cheese and mix (will look like the middle picture when mixed)

3. Use an ice cream scoop or melon baller to create small balls

4. Place onto a pan lined with foil for easy cleanup

Baking time.. just kidding!

1. Place the pan with the balls into the freezer for ten minutes

2. In a small bowl warm the chocolate for dipping while you wait

Decorating..

1. Drop a ball into the chocolate; with a fork, gently cover the entire thing

2. Pick up the ball with a fork underneath (not piercing it)

3. Tap the fork lightly on the edge of the bowl to get rid of any access chocolate

4. Place the truffle onto the pan by gently tapping the fork on the tray

5. Now would be a great time to add sprinkles. If you would like to add any other chocolate to the top make sure to cool the truffles first and then add the other chocolate or it may slide right off

6. Place the truffles into the fridge to cool (for faster cooling place into the freezer)

It is just that easy!

*Remember to store the truffles in the fridge due to the cream cheese.

I hope you try out these Oreo truffles and enjoy them as much as my family did! If you want to take a closer look at the process I have attached a short video below. I always strive to make my posts easy as possible to follow along and do yourself!
